Growing Up: Looking at New Homes in Pennsylvania

One of the biggest milestones of my life was when I graduated from college. It was like my grown up life started the moment I had that diploma in my hands. After all the hard work I had put in for years and years to get that degree, I was about to be rewarded as I used it to move solidly into a career that would sustain me in the lifestyle I desired.

Pennsylvania New Homes for Sale

New housing opportunities are available throughout Pennsylvania, you just have to know where to look!

I made sure to get a degree in an industry that has seen continued growth and plenty of opportunities. I grew up in Pennsylvania and knew the state offered many avenues for careers and employment. Whether I wanted to live, and work, in a rural area or in a large city, Pennsylvania is a state that offers a wide range of versatile options to choose from.

Along with a college degree in an expanding field and a secure job that uses that degree, came the opportunity to buy a home of my own. There were plenty of fine and upscale areas where I could look at—and buy—new homes in Pennsylvania. I could find my dream house in the country with a few acres to roam around on or I could find the home I have always wanted in a vibrant city that offers lots of cultural opportunities.

I grew up in a small town nestled in the majestic mountains of Pennsylvania. In order to have access to cultural activities or shop at more than a handful of stores, my family and I made weekly, or biweekly, trips to the nearest small city. For a weekend getaway, we would sometimes travel to a larger city several hours away from my small hometown. I enjoyed the trips and weekend getaways but craved more action and chances to explore new and different things.

The college I attended was located in a mid-sized city that offered lots of occasions to explore sports, outdoor activities, and cultural outlets. Rather than look all over the state for new homes in Pennsylvania that suited my needs, I decided to stay in this same college town that I had called home for so long. With its many opportunities for new and interesting things to see and do, as well as my extensive support system and the many companies that have invested in the area, I knew that I wanted to continue to put down roots there.
